Appendicitis in an inflammation of the appendix and can cause pain in your lower right abdomen. As inflammation increases, pain become more severe resulting in necessary surgical removal.

Cysts are noncancerous small bumps beneath the skin and can appear anywhere on the skin, but are most common on the face, neck and trunk. Cysts don’t often need surgical removal, but minor surgery is safe and effective and usually prevents cysts from recurring.

Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy (PEG) is a procedure where a feeding tube is placed through the abdominal wall and into the stomach that flows nutrition, fluids and/or medications to the stomach if the patient has swallowing issues and are unable to orally receive food and medication.

A cholecystectomy is a procedure to remove your gallbladder and is performed to treat gallstones and the complications they cause. A cholecystectomy is a common surgery with minimal risks and complications. In most cases, you can go home the same day of your cholecystectomy.

A lipoma is a fatty mass between the skin and the underlying muscle layer. And are typically non-cancerous, but if the lipoma bothers you, is painful or is growing, you may want to have it surgically removed.
